The RAB / aircore drill programme is designed to test for possible extensions of the highly prospective ultramafic unit that was recently identified by geophysical studies. This geophysical discovery could potentially double the prospective strike length of the ultramafic unit. In addition to the RAB/Aircore program the Company is scheduled to RC drill test three high priority electro-magnetic targets that have the potential to host sulphide nickel mineralisation. Two targets are proximal to the known ultramafic contact and the third is situated down dip from a previous drill intersection of 15m @ 0.53% nickel. The RC drilling is expected to commence shortly. The Company’s Mount Windarra Project is located only a few hundred metres from Poseidon NL’s famous nickel discovery of the late 1960’s. Within the project area the ultramafics are interpreted to be an extension of the Mount Windarra ultramafics, host to the Mount Windarra, South Windarra and Woodline Well nickel deposits. These deposits have produced in excess of 85,000 Tonnes of nickel metal. Exploration at the Mount Windarra Project is being funded 100% by Gryphon’s joint venture partner Minara Resources as part of the required $1,000,000 to be spent on the project over the next two years to earn a 70% interest in the project. Results from this RAB/aircore drill programme will be made available at the earliest opportunity.
