We will have to face any effects of the S and P downgrade of the US economy to AA+ this week. It may be minimal given the US situation is well known and reported and that the other 2 major rating agancies are holding steady at AAA. Japans past downgrading suggests there might be an initial reaction but little long term effect.
It would be good if Neons timing on the spud came out as things are settling down....perhaps mid to late this week?
