Rumours were reported over the various networks about S&P going to go out on a limb regardless of the manner in which the band-aid was going to be put on . The timing ( of the announcement ) was also mooted .
Also reported on SkyNews 602 ( the previous day to the sell-off ) was the likelihood of a significant fall based on technicals .
I also remember Ben Bernanke saying ( two months ago ) that the next big correction was coming lunchtime Thursday . He also said we would get over it pretty quick .
These guys didn't know how accurate they were going to be ..... or did they ?
Band-aids and bear markets will persist but most here should know that a good investment can still make good returns in these conditions .
