Interestingly when i bought my first house (1991) we paid a mortgage, made our family future bright in the lucky country..was almost the full amount of the house purchase.... and for the equivalent repayment of what renters pay out of the true average wage today...probably less actually.
This country just gets dumber and dumber as time marches on.
