    ok,

    1) do you think santos would proceed - my thoughts yes - they need the gas in every way - dom or LNG - no market weakness clause and RIO just showed the same resolve.

    2) if it does proceed then how would they change the deal if santos price is low - they headline 90 cents, surely they would have to make up the difference if santos share price is $11 etc.

    the above does not take into account reserves upgrade or lack thereof - if there is a significant one, then we can expect other bidders, if not then thank you santos for giving us 90 cents when in reality if the bid was not on the table, i think esg would be heading into 30 cent territory without a reserves upgrade in sight.
