thats fair enough Ctindale, but it seems the junior miners RMS PRU etc are not listeing to the idea of them losing 80% of their value,and even shockers like NAV are up today on the back of a report. me tinks you are making the right decision if the Us$ was not underthreat, as it would be seen as saf haven and yes GOLD will collapse as there is no drive for it. but look at the amount of gold being bought internationally. korea, brazil, china. thats the reality THIS time around, its not GFC 2 this is massive sovereign debt crisis '1' and the old methods are not working. print more paper and convince people to buy your debt, when the biggest holder is using his as quietly as possible to buy gold on the dips. this is a fundamental difference and that is why I feel anything connected to gold will also shine..... so the old addadge of all tha glitters etcetc. might actually be proven wrong.
