As I see it, it is the 'church' that is wrong - not religion, be it christian, judaic, islamic, buddhist, janist, animist, pantheist, hindu or whatever.
Very basically, it seems to me all are religions are saying be honest, be true, be a friend to your fellowman and live your life well.
Modern society, for mine, doesn't say that .... and neither does the church.
