This is not a one man crusade. There are plenty of others who get it out there. Given the daily volume of this stock, I guarantee my comments have no effect on the SP.
What I hate are people who ramp-up a stock without any knowledge of how the business works. That is more dangerous I believe than what I am doing (which is pointing out the structural issues), because those that follow up-rampers will actually lose money. If you had listended to me when the stock was way over $40, then I would have actually helped you.
There are only a few stocks on the market that I truly understand and they are the ones I will continue to follow and comment on.
I don't enjoy seeing others get hurt, but we certainly are in interesting times with investment banking stocks, so I do take just as much interest in stocks that get smashed as in stocks that rise. It is not unhealthy to have negative views - some people just don't want to listen though.
This is not a transparent stock I assure you, so I am just trying to challenge the thinking. MQG set up me for life financially and I happily let it happen, but it doesn't mean I completely agree morally with what I used to do.
