I go with the former.

Yes something is better than nothing but sometimes a principle takes precedence over "cash" and this is one of those occasions IMO. If this gets the nod it gives the green light to other entities to behave this way in the future. (thanks ASX)

I'm up for a lot of dollars, like others, so a few hundred dollars, if I'm lucky, is neither here or there. I want a lesson learnt in the, maybe fanciful, hope the next ASX company board to try what we have been on the receiving end of might think twice.
