As an ex Pom, I ws saddened but not surprised by recent events in London.
Years ago during my time in the UK, a prominent right wing political, Enoch Powell, warned against political correctness which allowed massive immigration, mainly from Pakistan and the West Indies.People from these and some other countries were allowed unfettered entry as they were classified as part of the Commonwealth. He warned that the streets of the UK would become "rivers of blood".He was villified but it seems his prediction was not far from the mark.
Film of the London riots show that the overwhelming majority of the perpetrators are coloured.That is not a racist comment, it is a fact!
