TXN's first two wells have not been as good as AUT's. Fact. But if you actually expected them to be as good if not better then clearly you had too high (and wrong) expectations!
TXN's performance in the EFS has most certainly been good, especially considering the slight difficulties within these two wells.
People obviously simply don't understand this, and might be getting caught up in the emotion that TXN hasn't 'become the next AUT'. Congrats to those who bought yesterday at the lows, you could be in for a double-up within a couple of months.
TXN won't be a market darling until at least the results of the 4th EFS well, so the market can see if the company can improve on the results of the first 2. Regardless of this I only see TXN heading in one direction provided the markets hold up.
I think there is a slight combination of an over-reaction and over-emotion (for those who bought under anticipation at double this price) for TXN at the moment.
Let's see how it performs with the dow jones having gone up 440 points overnight.
