I wouldn't take anything for granted in the near term (except Gold staying solidly up there).

As much as the fed made soothing noises last night in the US, they didn't actually act. The markets may very well stabilise from here on in, but all it takes is the right negative news or sentiment in a critical economic indicator and it could be Monday/Tuesday all over again.

Best not to get neither too optimistic nor too pessimistic in the short term.
