Consumers are probably going to get fussy with their coal purchasers. India's Malabar Cement has this requirement:

    Quote ' http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-08-15/india-s-malabar-cements-seeks-to-buy-40-000-tons-of-coal.html'
: ""India's Malabar Cements Ltd. is seeking to import 40,000 metric tons of power-plant coal through a tender, according to a document on the company's website. Suppliers must submit their offers by Sept. 2.

The imported coal must be of South African or Chinese origin with a minimum gross calorific value of 6,300 kilocalories per kilogram, a maximum total moisture content of 12 percent, maximum ash content of 15 percent and maximum sulfur content of 1 percent, according to the document. Deliveries of 7,000 to 7,500 tons should start in October and be completed by April.

India may import 137 million tons of coal, both thermal and coking varieties, for the year ending March 2012, India Coal Market Watch said, citing Minister of State for Coal Pratik Prakashbapu Patil. Domestic supplies of 559 million tons may prove inadequate to meet demand of 696 million tons, it said.""

Then compare with Mark's initial analysis at Ovorhangay BTE - 2, we are right on the money for the requirement, but in future, India may have no choice but to include Indo or / and Mono in their supply source (with ref to the Chinese or African source)!

    Cheers :)
