I respected the man because he was his own man and stood up for what he believed. He was badly done by by the Queensland Government over the Royal Commision or what ever it was. In addition he injected a lot of humour into politics, especially directed at the media, who thoroughly deserved it. Of course, I did have some problems with that brown paper bag on his desk.
