I think that's an interesting point ST & really the talk of a long list of patners 8-20, whatever, is a nice line to throw around & by no means are Phylogica the only company to throw around similar lines but in the end each 1 partnership signed is of far greater value than any long list of "potential" partners &/or those in discussion.

Obviously in no position to really make comment as we don't know what goes on in the background& behind closed doors, but it would seem of much greater sense to intensely persue one or two of the most advanced & lucrative partnerships while paying only little attention to the long line.

If the technology is really in such high demand & receiving such high attention from big pharma with an impetus to form partnerships & give them the inside edge to the next superclass of drugs in the industry AND it truly is a big inside edge PYC have with the worlds largest & most structurally diverse library of natural peptides, then I would assume there is not a great need for PYC to persue these partners - they will come to them.

Another thing i was thinking with many of these Top 10 players also chasing breakthoughs in hard to reach target areas with huge unmet demand - how many do you think are in that line looking for the same thing ? Obviously once a contract is signed with one on that taregt then the legal side of the contracts would block anyone else from seeking out that same target with Phylomers ? - hence the potential impetus.

If you take the deals one by one & leave the others in the background then if the rush is on that's when up-fronts jump in. If you want to pay us upfront you get to jump the queue. Money talks.

I don't think they need to try & attract partners anymore -they have already built there name in the industry amongst the big players they know they are there - it's just about locking them down.

But ay ay ay what would i know lol
