NSW has a coalition government so very much doubt they are pulling the police off. The reality is that allegations have been made about activities within a private organisation and that organisation has not made a police complaint. As reported, there was dubious expenditure but who knows if it was paid back afterwards or the union decided to sanction the expenditure once it was realised, for example, that a CEO was, ahem, satisfied and so settled an industrial dispute. If the union states it is not a victim, there is nothing for the police to investigate. Certainly union members should be asking for accountability but that's not a police matter.
Unlike the coalition senate member - charged with assault and theft as I recall.
