APartridge...those people have been in renovation industry for two generations...in 1974 they moved cities to renovate a mansion in sydney...and you think they don't have connection with REIA or REIV or ... ? ? ?
seriously! are you that naive to believe there is no way for them getting reimbursed through their production's 'product' ???
it was very simple to manipulate the outcome of this auction.
a)lift the reserve and none of them sells ! b)lower the reserve and ALL props sell !
'disaster/embarassment' could've been avoided very easily...matter of fact, they will sell them definately ...but it won't be in the eye of the general public...why did they have to go through those 'bad motions' in front of a whole nation?
...unless there was a message to be sent to that same nation? (hence high reserve prices?)
p.s i admit, that there is also a 'chaos factor' for the next series, which might bring something of a 'tension' to the show due to this 'disaster of an ending' but still RE Industry remains the only winner from this outcome and hence...
im not saying that everything in life has to be complicated but some things just are ! sorry.
usualy those are the things that involve money! (more money more complications) !
