re: Ann: Ardent Leisure Group Half Year Finan... This talk about AAD executive remuneration reminded me of how bad I felt during the GFC when I attended one of the Ardent General Meetings. I had a significant holding in AAD (then Macquarie Leisure), having previously had faith in management, which had been severely hit by the big drop in profits/capital raising and subsequent price decline. While my money was disappearing the Directors were asking for a nice little pay rise for themselves. It was just painful. After years of disappointment with this stock I finally let go a while ago only to see the share price rise slightly with some improved results. Interesting to see the share price back down once again and yet more worries coming out over the 10% July drop in theme park revenues. I was also surprised that the full year contribution from the new bowling centres such as Rooty Hill did not have a more significant positive impact on constant centre results
