    I may be mistaken but to me it seems that converting options (if "converting" means "exercising") before big news is quite the opposite to "always good news". Would it not be better to wait and see how the news pans out; if good news and SP increases then convert options? A main reason to convert options to shares would be so that you could sell them right? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know much about options.
