Now, I get an AEGIS technical newsletter every week, quite accurate observations, and this week they have updated Acrux and I think this validates what I have been saying for once. O wish I had a handle on other stocks as I do on ACR at the moment.
Here is the view. The recommendation is accumulate and the target is 4.30.....4.25 if you ask me :-)
"ACR has remained above it gently rising 200DMA. This is in stark contrast to the vast majority of stocks.
Price pushed to all-time highs in July and then re-tested those highs in mid August. The subsequent pullbacks held above strong lateral support, as marked. This is positive action.
Momentum indicators are not giving any clear signals, and just as they can give false signals in falling markets, I think that that they could be misleading in situations such as this; price action is more important, and especially so given that the stock has held up so well given the weakness elsewhere.
Range trading between approximately $3.40 and $4.30 is possible over the next few months, but the action is constructive and the stock appears to be preparing for the next advance.
A break below $3.40 would abort the positive profile; a stop-loss can be placed at that level."
