have looked at the vix a fair
bit over the journey...

in my opinion the vix goes into
mini 'bubble' cycles which
means the correction is usually
quite deep to roughly where
the cycle started from...

any financial instrument that goes 'parabolic'
always has the same attributes of deflating,
check out the NASDAQ pre 2000 top and DJIA pre 1929 top...
