Nice use of a few legal terms!

Fair enough to a point. I am not doubting the veracity of the P/Librarian just that she mightn't be as up to speed at all times with the here and now in a particular case.

I'll reserve judgment all the same.

On one of your points:

"This case wouldn't be argued by witnesses giving evidence in chief, cross examination, re-examination followed by lengthy summations, it would be argued through written submissions so it is reasonable to believe that it could have been concluded within a single day."

The parties are also allowed to make oral submissions.

Not sure why yours and Kiwi's (now on ignore) emails hold any more water than PLs - all the same.
