    Monsters,

If you have a think of ORG's potential gas upside vs Santos' potential upside, I know who has got the bigger contingent resource. Especially in a higher gas price environment.

In a higher domestic gas environment, the shale will become economic. Santos has this in spades. Origin just doesn't have this upside. So, again, between Santos and Origin, I know who is looking the stronger as we move into a lower-carbon emission economy.

I wouldn't say Origin are 'stuffed' - having the large reserves in QLD makes them in a far stronger position that the likes of AGK. But, moving forward, he who owns the gas at source calls the shots.

Yeah Monsters, I am getting my head around things. Appreciate your posts.

    Yaq

As for the 'bad blood' ... well, the 'Indians' can get mighty restless if, one, they don't know what is going on, and two, they think their Chiefs have sold them out. But if the Indians are on board and know what the game is, then they will back their Chiefs all the way. And encourage other Indians to do the same - smoke signals between the teepees, and all that. ; )
