Now I don't expect my email to be read let alone acted upon but I wrote to Gillard and suggested she hand power over to Abbott.

Why? Beacuse it is the worst of times and looks like getter worse.

Let the Libs have the reins for a couple of years and see how impotent they will be as well.

You can't fight economic cycles as it takes time to deconstruct abuse of the system and create a platform for renewed invigoration.

This is what we are going through worldwide. The good news is Australia will be amongst the first to exit the malaise.
