$35+ entry price shouldn't be a worry if your aim is to sell a few years down the track. Assets currently under construction will be greatly change balance sheet and revenue projections.
If your aim is to make a useful profit this week, suggest you prepare for disappointment. That will only happen if there's a takeover announcement.
Looking at 'new investor' status... market is probably in a general downtrend for some time to come. ASX200 will definitely be down Monday. If you're worried about sitting on paper losses for a while, you may want to re-consider short-term trading in WPL. Or consider 'averaging down' - buy more at the lower cost.
