For those that have access to Iress i suggest checking the trading history (which broking firms are buying) between aug 27 - aug 31. CLR released an announcement on aug 26 saying Timeview Enterprises, a company associated with Gina Rinehart had ~0.74% of the company at that date. The AFR reported that the trades on Timeview's behalf were placed were placed by Smith Barney. Smith Barney has been heavily in the market since aug 26 according to my Iress trading history. For whom the are buying, that is not certain - but join the dots...
