I just finished reading that Jan 2008 thread by martis. He pretty much nailed it!! He called 3500 and BHP at 22 dollars.

I understand he has made some wrong calls before, but we all do, and getting the big one right and shorting banks counts for a lot.

I note that 90% of posters in that thread dismissed his sensationalist claims at the time. eerily about 90% of posters in this thread are doing the same thing today.

If this all plays out according to martis (which I reckon has a greater probability of happening rather than a rally back to the highs) then I will be subscribing to his future newsletters :)
