This is one of the best blogs I've seen on the possibility of Australian Government confiscation from an ex employee of the Perth Mint, and has been kept updated over the last few years.
I knew this already, but it's disturbing to re-read that the government already has the right to confiscate our gold by law if the situation dictates.....hate that I may be demonized as an "evil gold hoarder" and stripped of my insurance policy as happened in the US in the 30s.
