Cove just made an interesting announcement, the title of which caught my eye: "Cove advancing to next phase of work at Carosue Project".

I knew that Carosue Dam is mined by Saracen (SAR), so I went to Cove's website, and found this:

"...Tenement package includes two Exploration Licences, three Exploration Licence Applications and two Prospecting Licences covering an area over 250km2. The Carosue Project lies immediately adjacent to the Carosue Dam Gold Mine (Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited) with reported gold resources of over 3.0M oz...."

If "nearology" is a good enough reason for other oil/gas/gold/copper/RE miners, then it wouldn't surprise me to see punters make the connection between CVE and the successful SAR, with the expected share price lift.
