Yeah completely agree. They cannot allow contagion again. That is why I think it is just political games at this point. Why not allow them to default the first time? Same reason as not letting them default this time.
She just wants to be seen as being tough for her voters. She is however disregarding the power of financial markets to force things very quickly. Dumb move. It will cost her more the longer she does this.
