Well I myself hold AMP for the long term. But medium term, as in the next 1-3 months, i think $7.50 - $8 is realistic.
I know plenty of people that swore black and blue at the start of this year that AMP would be taken over before the end of 2005 also. While all the news is good and AMP are performing by way of capital returns and healthy dividends, the cheaper it gets the more it is going to appear on the radar of an ANZ, NAB or another major bank.
