Looks like SMM have something of substance otherwise it would have been thrown out of court in August..

SMM would be more than happy to drag it through the courts for the next 7 years if it has to ... And I do not think the SI govt want to be imbroiled with the Japanese govt.
SI would be saying do a deal ....

So , SMM could possibly own the licence , however AVQ own the land ... In stead of years in court which quite frankly AVQ cannot afford - take a deal 50:50 free carry for us and we can use that substantial cashflow for Vietnam and Nth QLD . We operate the mine and SMM can pay the costs and have the ore ....

Still for a $40 million company it is all good and the core activities were always Vietnam and nth Qld.
