Thanks Taz, I know how the Pre open auction works. The point is (as you said) they where priced well below the indicative open. They wanted them sold as part of the open, what ever the price was going to be. They and I, think we will wounder lower during the day.
If it was a over night trade, congratulations to them. But remember at 4.00pm yesterday European futures were down about 1% and the US futures were down about 1.5%. That's just luck, and people who trade 1.5 million dollars at a time don't rely on luck.
