    G'day Yaq,

You can "have a go" if you want. We're both big enough, and speaking for myself ugly too...

Thanks also for your kind endorsement insofar as my sincerity goes.

I've noted your points, as I have in your previous very similar post. They are well worthy of consideration...I'd be a tad miffed if didn't think most of us had these very real risks clearly in front of mind, right alongside the notion of a possible No vote.

Yes Yaq, they are BIG risks, UN-NECESSARY risks to take in my opinion when there is an offer on the table that basically lets us say right I'm taking this capital off into another venture, or I'm hanging around to see how STO/esg goes. Whichever.

I put it to you then Yaq, wouldn't even a very silly, or compromised, or negligent Board have weighed up these same risks? They KNOW how stirred up many long term, deeply invested shareholders are, they KNOW their obligations under the law.

They KNOW, I also contend, how much more STO are prepared to "stump up" as another poster put it.

What they cannot KNOW for certain is our resolve to push STO for a more amenable offer for a resource that I do not believe for one moment they will risk exposing to another bidder...not even as JT suggests, for 6 months.

Yes YAQ, voting NO entails risk, risks such as you quite correctly identify.

Ask the board how they feel being in charge, facing those risks if we vote NO? I don't mean to be rude mate, but the reality you describe IS the reality for them too. It was a risk to hit the BUY button on ESG for the very first time...way back.

STO took a risk investing in the ESG fishbowl, swimming swimming...

And our Directors continue to take a huge risk, the least of all those risks I'd be taking...in the matter of non-disclosure, unless there's a pay-off! For ALL of us.

    Keep that tan up.

    My best wishes,

    Lilac

..One last tongue in cheek thought: re your question about whether we would vote Directors On/off in a NO vote aftermath...reckon we might not have to bother. I could see one or two very smart resignations.
