Actually, it would be interesting to get some comments from Paul Young on HiTech.
According to his bio, he established and directs corporate advisory group, Baron Partners Limited. Also, among other directorships, he lists HR group, AMB. Associated vehicle, Quevy Holdings, has been a top twenty holder for some years, but added substantially in 2010 (and, of course, we don't know what happened in 2011!). Currently, he is probably busy winding up Tidewater (TDI) in an attempt to realise value for shareholders.
AMB decided to develop organically in IT recruitment this year - acquisition or merger with HIT would have made good sense from this angle. But guess that did not come to anything - if it was ever considered.
