In Perth a few months ago, it more like a country town, not that that's a bad thing. The cabbie was complaining about the traffic in peak hour, it reminded me of Melbourne Sunday morning traffic. I know a lot here seem to think of Perth and speak of it as a jewel but it's a very small city. Quaint yes but a leading indicator I doubt it no more than Adelaide and that get hardly a mention. In little places averages are skewed more easily. And don't get me wrong it's a beautiful place but gees it's like taking a step back 20 years.
