My sister sold a flat today in sydney. The agent told her to gee up a friend to drop some bids in at the auction, to keep it on the boil. The agent said do not speak to this friend on the phone a few days before or a few days afterwards to leave less of a trail. Just a normal agent, quite a nice person she says, this is just how most operate it seems.
