I'm impressed with the thread here guys ( maybe I have, too, cooled of from the other day)!!
I reckon those with significant debt are not councelled in how, why & when they can pay the debt down to zero....
I know we use terms, like ATM-bank loans flippantly, but, you guys are old enough to remember when the term of the loan meant something... a deliberate date-a line in the sand when it should be paid of !
Hey ...stats on the number of extended loan 'term-periods over the last 20 yr would be interesting.. i bet..
