Well each to their own. I don't know specifically what you are referring to when you say they used western blots, I assume you are talking about the phosphorylation of GSK3beta. I agree that the data was convincing, but only convincing to the point that it identifies a possible further mechanism of action for PBT2.
Also, I don't wanna go on, but I also don't want to be misrepresented: You said: "When you say there is no proof that GSK3 is implicated in Alzheimers, are you sure you have not been looking at it." I said: "Furthermore, although GSK3-beta has been implicated in AD this is far from proven to be the case."
