You've made some pretty valid points about the different sectors. It's a scary time. I've had a good look at my stock holdings since last month and have been paring off the ones that worry me. Have kept STB (potash) and WHN (oil) due to exciting (hopefully) up and coming announcements.
At this moment I have retained one stock in the gold sector, that being NST. I'm not a flash chartist but read them a little and what sticks out most in my mind is the trendline and channel of NST. As I was saying in a recent post we are still within the channel lines with this one despite the SP fall over the last week. NST is following the gold price trendline closely. That is also within it's current uptrend parameters. One of the fellows on the charts forum has posted today re gold. (# 11039)
Until I get a firm view of it breaking and staying below the bottom line I'm still hesitant to get rid of it.
