    Kincella,

I was going to joke on my earlier post about how 'bright' she looked, and then I've just read about her cleverness on that other thread of yours! She sounds amazing, and obviously much loved.

I wish we would adopt more of our Australian flora for Christmas and other occasions. I'm pushing the holly leafed grevillea instead of the English holly. Just as Christmassy with its red stamens and green coloured leaves. Same with the WA Kangaroo Paw Anigozanthus Manglesii. Love the emerald green of that flower.

It is incredible how diverse all the different species of natives are, particularly in a single genus. Nature's patience over time has led to some truly remarkable plants.

Will look forward to seeing your photographs of the trees.

And yes, the lifestyle forum is probably one of the most useful forums on HC. With all the tips on gardening, wines, foods, etc. there is much to learn from reading the posts.

    Cheers,
    Tangrams
