Unfortunately their chance at finishing the HIV trial this year is practically nil. Those BITO are entirely reliant upon the HCV trial results and whether or not the company can attract a partner on favourable terms.
On the topic of BITO, that 35c "target" concocted by SCE doesn't account for any particular level of efficacy, nor does it have any way of anticipating partnership details. If the company can deliver solid results then the share price could easily exceed the arbitrary level imagined by SCE. There could be plenty of buffer built into the BITO before expiry.
Unfortunately Biotron have created their usual information vacuum around the pending results, with conflicting announcements serving only to confuse investors.
