Fletcher Building Limited’s (ASX:FBU) recently acquired Iplex Pipelines has been awarded a contract to supply pipe to the Queensland Curtis Island LNG Project, worth $120 million.
The contract is in addition to a contract to supply pipe and fittings for the Santos Gladstone LNG Upstream project that was awarded earlier this year.
Iplex’s general manager said the contracts position the company well for future demand over the life of upcoming coal seam gas projects.
Deliveries are expected to start before Christmas.
Fletcher Building Limited (ASX:FBU) reported a net profit of $224.6 million for the six months to June this year.
