As an ex HDR holder too, and glad at the time to be saved from Mauritiana by Tullow, it's ironic Tullow get great post deal wins out of both Uganda and Guiana.

Oil finding being so very very difficult it says a lot for Tullow, and says an incredible amount about Ellyard, afterall Mauritania was also geologically a huge success for Ellyard - pity about the development economics/production risk.

That great billion barrel carrot lured in front of us for years, and yes it came good - albeit beyond our time.

You can only laugh at our lack of patience.
