Does anyone have an overlay of the gold stocks relative to general equity market performance during the 78-80 period?
The reason I ask is that it seems that the only thing stopping gold equities today seems to be weakness in the general market. Maybe we need this current bout of equity weakness to run its course before we really see gold stocks outperform.
