Premier coal is a collie based coal miner. The coal mined in Collie has an unfortunate tendency to spontaneous combustion when exposed to air. This has prevented its export and even, in earlier days, its use as fuel on the steam ships.

I would not try and draw any conclusions from this sale with reference to other sales elsewhere as it is an unusual situation
