Kevin,
Yeah, interesting read, but the fact that the granite has acted as a seal and trap for hydrocarbon does not negate the fossil fuel theory. These articles and high on text and low on actual content, scratch the surface and there is nothing there. I read similar low quality articles on Tower, TRP. I'm not sure what the aim of these diatribes are.
Anyway, that's for another day. Roll on 2012, that's when we'll have feel for rrl moving forward.
Good luck

Druck it was clearly written it was a simplistic view, regards lateral traps, folds, fractures etc this was the very reason for employing the Helium survey team Actual Geology to supplement the seismic's and equally why i was cautious and clearly stated no significant hydrocarbons yet to dispel that rumor. I suppose we could also get into the debate about sedimentary hydrocarbon formation i.e. Biogenic or Abiogenic hydrocarbons.
A old but interesting link on the latter here

kev, can you confirm, except that which is 'claimed' on RUM , that we really did drill through tens of metres of 'Bloody hard granite'...? or is that just speculation on RUM?
