My prayers are with Prof Steinman. His discovery of dendritic cells gives much hope to cancer sufferers now and into the future. They dont normally award the Nobel Prize to deceased persons-but I am pleased the recognition will stand. I heard on tele that he treated himself for pancreatic cancer and while he has passed away his treatment appeared to have prolonged his life.
