Yes, very disappointing, given the hype of months gone by.
Just looking at the hopelessly lopsided market depth at present, I'm afraid impatience will take hold quite quickly.... with the inevitable impact on the share price.

The time frame for this deal makes it an unbearable wait for 57 cents, but if any of you were in Hanlong's position, would you be generous with your offers in this globally dismal climate??

I think not!!

Its time for all to do some soul searching and make the decision whether or not to wait for the 57 cents.... again in this dismal financial climate where nothing is set in concrete... or whether to cut and run before the next guy.

Its not the end of the world... disappointing as it may be.

I have been hugely cashed up for about 18 months and the decision to do so at the time was made very easy by the state of world markets, as a direct result of the increasing number of basket case Countries owning up to their respective predicaments. Since then global conditions have deteriorated significantly more and I fear we cannot avoid a second GFC.... THIS TIME EVEN FAR MORE SEVERE.

Dont, for a moment, think mere mortals have the ability to solve the current European crisis. It is simply beyond positive human intervention. We are witnessing history at the present time.

Dont, therefore blame SDL management or Hanlong.... the scenario is what it is , and has been in the making for many years.

We each have our individual opinions on this subject... and mine is obvious... but perhaps today's disappointing price will eventually be shown to be a luxury price several weeks hence.

I have been in and out of SDL several times... for WINS and LOSSES... resulting in a relatively disappointing net gain.... but, hey, who cares.... there are people dying of cancer out there who would beg to trade places with so many disenchanted SDL shareholders.
