I disagree.
If the approval is given this month, sure there will be some protests, but we've seen the dwindling strength of the anti-Lynas people over the past 6 months, and I wouldn't expect a whole lot of noise.
By March next year it will be long forgotten and the economic stimulus created for the area will counter any negativity.
Remember this is just pre-approval. Full approval isn't given until 1-2 years after commissioning.
